From Family Home to Holiday Retreat

The 104m² Handward Cottage was built at Anakiwa as a holiday home by the present owners in 1995 but became a permanent residence with a lifestyle move from Blenheim in 2002. Construction of a new home on the adjoining site in 2007 presented the opportunity to use the empty Cottage as an exclusive holiday retreat.

Handward Cottage offers superb accommodation with comfortable open plan lounge and dining area including Freeview TV, DVD/video player and stereo system, two double bedrooms furnished with modern high quality queen beds and fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances including fridge-freezer, dishwasher, ceramic cook top and wall oven. The modern bathroom faces the gorgeous garden and includes a romantic bath setting and shower, the laundry has a modern washing machine and the wood burner in the lounge provides ambience and warmth on cold winter nights. Handward Cottage offers everything needed to fully enjoy a restful time away from the rigours of everyday life.
